NAV Bharat is hiring an Operations Manager to join our Ahmedabad office and take ownership of investor operations and client services across the fund lifecycle. This is a hands-on role for someone who has worked closely with Private Equity (PE), Venture Capital (VC), and Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) in India and understands what it takes to keep fund administration running smoothly, accurately, and in full compliance.

What you'll do

Investor Onboarding — Set up accounts for Limited Partners (LPs) and General Partners (GPs), review subscription documents, and ensure KYC/AML compliance.

Capital Calls — Prepare and issue capital call notices, coordinate investor commitments, and reconcile payments.

Distributions — Handle profit allocations, issue distribution notices, and ensure timely and accurate transfers.

Payments & Fund Accounting Support — Manage cash flows, reconcile accounts, and support fund accounting accuracy.

Investor Screening — Conduct checks through MIS and World-Check to identify potential hits and maintain ongoing compliance.

Investor Reporting — Prepare quarterly and annual reports, performance updates, and financial statements for LPs.





Compliance Support — Assist with regulatory filings (FATCA, CRS, Form PF) and safeguard investor data.

Audit Coordination — Work with auditors to ensure fund records, capital accounts, and investor documentation are accurate and complete.

Relationship Management — Serve as a trusted point of contact for investors, address queries, and strengthen confidence in fund operations.

Process Improvement — Streamline workflows across capital activity and reporting to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

What we're looking for

- Qualified Company Secretary (CS) and/or CA, or an equivalent professional qualification relevant to fund operations and compliance.

- 3–5 years of relevant experience, specifically within PE, VC, or AIF structures in India.

- Strong working knowledge of fund operations — onboarding, KYC/AML, capital calls, distributions, and investor reporting.

- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory frameworks (FATCA, CRS, Form PF) and screening tools such as MIS and World-Check.

- Excellent attention to detail, strong reconciliation and reporting skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

- Confident communicator who can act as a reliable point of contact for investors.

- Available to join immediately and work from our Ahmedabad office.
