Role Overview The Deputy Manager HR will be responsible for managing end-to-end HR operations, statutory compliance, payroll coordination, recruitment and employee documentation. The role requires ensuring compliance with labour laws, smooth onboarding and exit management, accurate attendance and payroll processing, and effective coordination with internal departments and external authorities.
Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs)
1. HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle Management
- Manage employee onboarding and joining formalities
- Coordinate for contract employee recruitment
- Manage all employee documentation
2. Attendance, Payroll & HRMS Management
- Verify attendance of on-roll, contract, and outsourced employees and overtime calculations.
- Coordinate payroll inputs and salary processing.
- Generate and release pay slips through HRMS.
3. Recruitment & Manpower Management
- Coordinate with departments for manpower planning and hiring requirements.
- Handle end-to-end recruitment activities for Bangalore Office and contract employees.
- Manage recruitment agencies and vendor relationships.
- Ensure timely onboarding and deployment of selected candidates.
4. Vendor Management
- Manage contractor documentation and compliance requirements.
- Verify manpower bills, vouchers, and supporting documents.
5. Statutory Compliance & Labour Law Management
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Liaise with labour authorities and government departments as required.
- Coordinate monthly EPF and ESIC documentation and contribution submissions.
- Providing RBML documentation to the service team
- Prepare and submit statutory returns, including:
- Half-Yearly Labour Returns
- Bonus Act Returns
- Labour Welfare Fund Returns
- Annual Returns
- POSH Compliance Reports
- Union Wage Statements
6. Employee Benefits
- Coordinate for GMC, GPA, PF, ESIC, and other employee benefit programs.
- Submit GMC and GPA employee addition/deletion details before the monthly deadline.
- Manage ESIC and PF-related employee registrations, additions, deletions, and updates.
- Manage EDLI addition / deletion
6. Employee Separation & Exit Management
- Prepare and issue No Objection Certificates (NOC).
- Process Full & Final Settlement calculations and coordinate timely payments.
- Ensure recovery and return of company assets during employee separation.
- Maintain exit records and statutory compliance documentation.
8. General Administration
- Coordinate email ID creation, laptop allocation, ID card and visiting card generation.
- Coordination for Medical cam at Harohalli office and maintaining the records.
- Verification of PID Team Vouchers.
- Managing inventory for Stationery and House keeping
- Renewal of Fire Extinguishers
- Coordinating for any plumber work requirement
Required Qualifications & Experience
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent qualification.
- Additional certifications in Labour Laws, Compliance, or Payroll Management will be preferred.
- 6-10 years of experience in HR Operations, Compliance, Payroll, and Employee Lifecycle Management.
- Experience in managing contract workforce and labour law compliance.
- Exposure to HRMS implementation and process automation is preferred.
