Role:

The Maintenance Officer is a full-time, on-site role based at Kosamba, responsible for maintaining production equipment, facility utilities, electrical systems, and IT infrastructure to ensure smooth and uninterrupted plant operations.

Key Responsibility:

- Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of production machinery and facility equipment.
- Monitor and maintain electrical systems, panels, wiring, and power distribution.
- Operate and maintain AHU, Chiller, Cooling Tower, and other utility systems.
- Troubleshoot equipment faults and minimize production downtime.
- Maintain maintenance records, schedules, checklists, and equipment history.
- Coordinate with Production, QA/QC, and other departments for maintenance activities.
- Handle basic IT hardware troubleshooting, including computers, printers, UPS,



and other electronic equipment.
- Manage and troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, internet connectivity, routers, switches, and servers.
- Monitor and maintain CCTV/camera systems, DVR/NVR, and related equipment.
- Coordinate with external vendors for specialized technical and maintenance services.
- Ensure compliance with safety, GMP, ISO 13485, QMS, and company requirements.
- Support continuous improvement activities to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and reduce downtime.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Equipment Maintenance, Maintenance & Repair, and Corrective Maintenance for manufacturing or medical device environments.
- Working knowledge of Electricity, including basic electrical troubleshooting, safety practices, and understanding of relevant standards.
- Effective Communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams, documenting maintenance activities, and reporting issues clearly.
- Experience in industrial or medical device facilities, preferably in clean room or regulated environments.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems), and basic MS Office tools.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and compliance with ISO and relevant regulatory requirements.
