Role Description The Machine Learning Trainer will deliver structured, industry-relevant training sessions on machine learning and related data science topics to students and early-career professionals. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, creating training materials and projects, conducting interactive classes, supervising hands-on labs, and guiding learners through model development, evaluation, and deployment workflows. The Trainer will also mentor learners on career pathways, review project work, provide feedback, and collaborate with the curriculum team to keep content aligned with current industry practices and tools.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ongole,
requiring a consistent classroom presence and active engagement in academy events and workshops.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong technical skills in machine learning, including supervised and unsupervised learning, model evaluation, feature engineering, and applied data science.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in programming and tools such as Python, relevant ML libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow or PyTorch), and basic data handling with SQL or similar technologies.
- Candidates should possess skills in data analysis and visualization, including working with data pipelines, exploratory data analysis, and tools like pandas, NumPy, and visualization libraries.
- Candidates should possess instructional and communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts clearly, design engaging learning content, and facilitate interactive classroom discussions.
- Candidates should possess mentoring and coaching abilities, including guiding learners on projects, providing constructive feedback, and supporting diverse learning styles.
- Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Industry or project experience in applying machine learning to real-world problems, including end-to-end workflows, is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms or MLOps concepts, and experience with collaborative tools (e.g., Git, Jupyter notebooks) will be an added advantage.
