Job Summary

We are seeking an accomplished Logistics Manager with over 15 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, and international trade operations. The role involves managing end-to-end export and import activities, ensuring seamless movement of goods, regulatory compliance, cost optimization, vendor coordination, and operational excellence across global and domestic supply chains.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics Operations Management

Lead and oversee end-to-end logistics operations to ensure timely and productive movement of materials and finished goods.

Develop and implement logistics strategies aligned with business objectives.

Monitor operational performance, service levels, and delivery commitments.

Coordinate with logistics partners, customs agents, and service providers to ensure smooth operations.

Export &

- Import Management

Manage complete export and import processes from order receipt through final delivery.

Ensure accuracy and compliance of all export-import documentation, including:

Commercial Invoices

Packing Lists

Certificates of Origin

Customs Documentation

Letter of Credit Documentation

Regulatory and Trade Compliance Documents

Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for effective execution of international transactions.

Customs &

- Regulatory Compliance

Ensure compliance with customs regulations, DGFT guidelines, foreign trade policies, and international trade requirements.

Liaise with government authorities, regulatory bodies, and customs representatives.

Maintain statutory records and documentation for audits and inspections.

Monitor changes in trade regulations and implement necessary process updates.





Vendor &

- Stakeholder Management

Manage relationships with logistics service providers, customs consultants, and business partners.

Negotiate service agreements and monitor vendor performance against agreed KPIs.

Collaborate closely with procurement, sales, planning, finance, and warehouse teams.

Cost Control &

- Process Improvement

Identify opportunities to optimize logistics costs and improve operational efficiency.

Analyze logistics performance metrics and recommend improvement initiatives.

Drive process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement projects.

Prepare and present management reports and key performance indicators.

Team Leadership

Lead, mentor, and develop logistics and EXIM teams.

Establish performance targets and ensure achievement of departmental objectives.

Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence.

Inventory &

- Distribution Coordination

Coordinate with inventory and warehouse teams to ensure efficient stock movement and dispatch planning.

Support inventory accuracy and visibility across the supply chain.

Resolve operational issues that may impact customer commitments.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Commerce, Business Administration, or related discipline.

Preferred

MBA / PGDM in Supply Chain Management

Certification in Export-Import Management

International Trade or Customs Compliance Certifications

Experience

Minimum 15 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management.

Proven expertise in export-import operations and international trade compliance.

Experience in handling global customer and vendor interactions.
