Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Engineer to drive the technical direction and execution of projects within our Cyient Insights India team. This role involves leading a team of engineers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions, and contributing to the overall technical strategy.

Job Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing setting.

Architect, design, develop, and implement complex software solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.

Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

Collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and other engineering teams to define project requirements and technical specifications.

Identify and mitigate technical risks, proposing innovative solutions to complex problems.

Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, applying relevant advancements to enhance our solutions.





Contribute to the technical roadmap and strategic planning for the engineering department.

- Troubleshoot and debug critical production issues, providing timely and effective resolutions.

Job Qualifications**

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a lead or senior engineering role.

Proven expertise in designing and building scalable, distributed systems.

Strong proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C++, Go).

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Solid understanding of database systems (SQL and NoSQL) and data warehousing concepts.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively guide and motivate a team.

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
