JOB PURPOSE:

To drive corporate outreach, build strategic employer partnerships, and strengthen the industry connect of Hari Shankar Singhania School of Business (HSB), Jaipur. The role is responsible for expanding recruiter engagement, securing internship and final placement opportunities, fostering industry-academia collaborations, and enhancing the school's visibility as a preferred destination for management talent.

The incumbent will work closely with corporate leaders, faculty, students, and career services teams to create a robust ecosystem that supports student employability and delivers exceptional recruitment outcomes.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Corporate Outreach & Recruiter Acquisition

- Develop and execute a structured corporate outreach strategy to attract recent recruiters for summer internships and final placements.
- Build and maintain relationships with HR leaders, Talent Acquisition teams, business heads, CXOs, founders, and decision-makers across industries.
- Identify and engage prospective employers in sectors such as Consulting, BFSI, FMCG, Technology, Manufacturing, Retail, Healthcare, E-commerce, Logistics, and Emerging Startups.
- Drive recruiter acquisition through networking, referrals, industry forums, conferences, and targeted engagement initiatives.




- Expand the school's recruiter base while strengthening relationships with existing hiring partners.

Employer Relationship Management

- Serve as the primary relationship manager for key corporate accounts and strategic recruitment partners.
- Develop annual engagement plans for recruiters, ensuring sustained interaction and repeat hiring.
- Gather employer feedback and insights to continuously improve student readiness and placement outcomes.
- Ensure a superior recruiter experience throughout the internship and placement lifecycle.

Industry Partnerships & Academic Engagement

- Establish partnerships with corporates and industry bodies for live projects, industry immersion programs, competitions, workshops, guest lectures, mentorship programs, and leadership interactions.
- Collaborate with faculty and academic teams to facilitate meaningful industry engagement opportunities for students.
- Leverage industry inputs to strengthen alignment between business education and evolving market requirements.
- Promote opportunities for collaborative research, executive education, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Internship & Placement Support

- Work closely with the Career Services and Placement team to develop internship and final placement opportunities.
- Facilitate campus recruitment processes, including Pre-Placement Talks (PPTs), networking sessions, assessment activities, interviews, and offer management.
- Support achievement of placement objectives related to student participation, recruiter diversity, quality of roles, and compensation outcomes.
- Ensure seamless coordination between recruiters, students, faculty, and placement committees.

Market Intelligence & Employer Insights

- Track industry hiring trends, emerging job roles, competency requirements, and compensation benchmarks.
- Provide actionable market intelligence to Career Services, faculty, and leadership teams.
- Analyze placement and recruiter data to identify growth opportunities and new target sectors.
- Share employer feedback to help enhance student employability and industry relevance.

Employer Branding & Visibility





- Position HSB as a preferred management talent partner by showcasing student capabilities, academic strengths, and placement achievements.
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team to strengthen employer-facing branding initiatives.
- Represent HSB at industry forums, corporate events, conferences, and networking platforms.
- Develop and execute targeted campaigns to enhance recruiter awareness and engagement.

Events & Corporate Engagement

Plan and execute flagship corporate engagement initiatives including:

- Recruiter Meets
- Industry Conclaves
- Leadership Speaker Series
- Career & Internship Fairs
- Corporate Networking Events
- Alumni-Corporate Connect Programs

Ensure active participation of industry leaders and hiring organizations in institutional events. Data Management & Reporting

- Maintain an up-to-date database of recruiters, hiring partners and engagement history.
- Prepare periodic reports on outreach effectiveness, recruiter engagement, placement pipelines, and partnership development.

Policies, Systems & Process Compliance

- Ensure adherence to institutional policies, placement guidelines, and employer engagement protocols.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and communications related to corporate outreach activities.
- Recommend and implement best practices to strengthen outreach effectiveness and stakeholder engagement.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

Educational Background:

- Postgraduate degree in Management, Human Resources, Education, or related field. Preferably MBA or equivalent.

Minimum Experience:

- Minimum 8-12 years of progressively responsible experience in placements, corporate relations, or career services, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in higher education

- Communication Excellence - Persuasive communication, public speaking, and stakeholder influence
- Data-Driven Decision Making - Strong analytical skills to interpret placement and employability data
