About the Role

Seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support its day-to-day accounting and financial operations. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of accounting principles, hands-on experience with Tally, and working knowledge of GST, TDS, EPF, and ESI. The position requires accuracy, confidentiality, analytical ability, and a willingness to undertake occasional fieldwork, including visits to banks and other relevant offices.

Key Responsibilities

· Reconcile bank accounts by compiling, reviewing, and balancing financial information.

· Maintain accounting records for subsidiary branches through balance-sheet analysis and general-ledger accounts.

· Maintain and update general-ledger accounts, accounts receivable records, and control accounts.

· Identify and correct accounting errors and post journal-entry adjustments and voucher entries.

· Calculate and record fixed-asset depreciation, accruals, and other accounting adjustments.

· Assist in evaluating the financial position and overall financial health of the company and related business units.

· Prepare accurate, detailed, and professional accounting reports.

· Assist team members with the creation and maintenance of financial databases while ensuring the security and confidentiality of sensitive information.

· Support statutory and regulatory compliance related to GST, TDS, EPF, and ESI.

· Follow applicable accounting standards, company policies, and financial-reporting requirements.





· Stay informed about accounting practices and regulations by participating in relevant educational programs and reviewing professional publications.

· Undertake visits to banks and other locations for official work when required.

· Perform additional accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Required Skills and Competencies · Strong understanding of basic and intermediate accounting principles.

· Proficiency in Tally and routine accounting operations.

· Working knowledge of GST, TDS, EPF, and ESI.

· Ability to perform essential mathematical calculations accurately.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

· Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

· Ability to prepare clear, complete, and professional accounting reports.

· Ability to analyze financial information objectively and without bias.

· Ability to handle and store confidential financial information responsibly.

· Consistent ability to meet deadlines and produce high-quality work.

· Good organizational, record-keeping, and time-management skills.

· Willingness to perform fieldwork, including bank visits.

Education

· Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree is required.

Experience

· 1.5–2 years of accounting experience is required.

· At least 1.5 years of hands-on experience using Tally is required.

Benefits and Additional Requirements

· Conveyance reimbursement will be provided for authorized official travel.

· The candidate must own a suitable means of conveyance.

· Five-day working week with Saturdays and Sundays off.

· Day-shift position.
