About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Architect specializing in Java to join our dynamic team at Quantiphi. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in enterprise application development, modernization, and cloud integration. In this role, you will serve as a critical link between clients and internal teams, translating business requirements into robust technical solutions.

Your expertise will help drive the design, development, and enhancement of high-performance Java applications, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, security, and scalability. You will also be responsible for mentoring team members, overseeing project execution, and staying abreast of the latest technological advancements. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects that impact a diverse range of industries while collaborating with talented professionals committed to excellence.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a strong educational background in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields, with 7-12 years of professional experience in software development and architecture. Proven expertise in Java application modernization,



particularly upgrading legacy systems to newer Java LTS versions such as Java 17, 21, or 25, is highly preferred. Candidates must have hands-on experience with enterprise-level software development using frameworks like J2EE and Spring Boot, along with proficiency in API integration, deployment, and cloud architecture.

Familiarity with AWS services, cloud deployment, and security best practices are essential. Candidates should demonstrate a solid understanding of object-oriented programming, database management using SQL or NoSQL, and experience with tools like Git, Maven, and JFrog. Robust problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working in Agile environments are also required.

Responsibilities

- Connect with clients to understand project requirements, provide consultation, and facilitate project briefing, installation, and review sessions.
- Support the design, development, enhancement, and modernization of enterprise Java applications, ensuring alignment with client needs and industry best practices.
- Manage customer demands to maximize satisfaction and uphold quality standards across deliverables.
- Negotiate technical specifications and resource requirements with clients, and assist in creating comprehensive technical documentation.
- Supervise activities between internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of services.
- Evaluate project data for accuracy, set project targets, and prioritize tasks to meet project milestones.
- Provide mentorship and training to team members, fostering skill development and technical excellence.
- Stay updated on current industry practices, emerging technologies,



and trends to enhance service standards.
- Review customer technical demands, guide the internal team, and assist clients in optimizing the use and maintenance of delivered solutions.
- Conduct research to identify new trends and incorporate innovative solutions to improve project outcomes.
- Ensure APIs and application architectures are robust, maintainable, and scalable, coordinating efforts across different infrastructure layers.
- Carry out additional technical duties as needed, ensuring adherence to best coding practices and architectural standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, troubleshooting development and production issues, and optimizing application performance.
