Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead / Architect – Java & Cloud with 10–12 years of experience in designing, developing, and architecting scalable enterprise applications using Java and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, cloud architecture, distributed systems, and modern application development practices.

The candidate will be responsible for providing technical leadership, defining application architecture, driving engineering best practices, and working closely with development, product, and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
- Define and implement technical architecture for enterprise-scale applications.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
- Design cloud-native solutions and deploy applications on AWS / Azure / GCP.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices-based architectures.
- Work on distributed systems, scalability, availability, performance, and reliability.
- Conduct technical design reviews and code reviews.
- Define coding standards, design patterns, development guidelines, and best practices.
- Identify technical risks and provide appropriate architectural solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, DevOps, QA,



and other engineering teams.
- Lead the migration of legacy applications to modern cloud-native architectures where required.
- Implement security, authentication, authorization, and data protection best practices.
- Troubleshoot complex production and performance issues.
- Mentor senior developers and technical team members.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, cloud services, and modern Java ecosystem practices.

Mandatory Technical Skills
- Java 8/11/17+
- Spring Boot
- Microservices Architecture
- REST APIs
- Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming and Design Patterns
- Experience with Distributed Systems
- Strong experience with SQL and relational databases
- Experience with NoSQL databases is an advantage
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform:
- AWS / Azure / GCP
- Cloud services such as compute, storage, database, networking, and monitoring
- Docker and Kubernetes
- CI/CD and DevOps practices
- Git / GitHub / GitLab / Bitbucket
- Messaging technologies such as Kafka / RabbitMQ
- Strong understanding of application security, OAuth2, JWT, RBAC, etc.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with AWS architecture and services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway, CloudWatch, and IAM.
- Experience with Azure or GCP is an added advantage.




- Knowledge of Event-Driven Architecture.
- Experience with Cloud-Native Architecture.
- Knowledge of System Design and High-Level Design (HLD).
- Experience with performance tuning and scalability.
- Exposure to AI/GenAI integration with enterprise applications is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Mentor developers and promote engineering excellence.
- Ensure solutions meet scalability, performance, security, and maintainability requirements.

Education Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

- 10–12 years of overall software development experience.
- Strong experience in Java and Spring Boot.
- Proven experience in Technical Lead / Solution Architect / Application Architect responsibilities.
- Robust hands-on experience with Microservices and Cloud technologies.
- Experience leading technical teams and architecture/design initiatives.
