Role Description The International Education Advisor is a full-time, in office role based in Bengaluru. The advisor will guide students through the entire study abroad process, including understanding their academic goals, recommending suitable countries and universities, and explaining program options and application requirements. Daily activities include conducting counseling sessions, reviewing academic documents, supporting SOP and application preparation, and coordinating with internal teams for admissions, scholarships, and visa processes.

The advisor will maintain accurate student records, follow up on applications,



and provide timely updates and guidance on timelines, documentation, and next steps. The role also involves delivering information sessions, responding to inquiries, and ensuring a positive, supportive experience for each student and their families.

Qualifications

- Strong Educational Consulting and Consulting skills to advise students on suitable programs, universities, and pathways.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear spoken and written English, with the ability to explain complex processes simply.
- Background or strong understanding in Education, international academic systems, and study abroad processes.
- Customer Service experience, with the ability to handle inquiries professionally and provide empathetic, solution-oriented support.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a degree in education, counseling, or related fields is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru and manage multiple student cases simultaneously with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office and online communication tools; experience with CRM or student management systems is a plus.

- Prior experience in study abroad counseling, admissions, or international education advisory roles is highly preferred.
