Role Overview The Internal Communications Specialist is responsible for strategizing, planning, creating, and executing employer brand initiatives that keep employees informed, engaged, and aligned with the organization’s strategy, culture, and priorities. The role works closely with leadership, HR, business and Global Comms teams to translate complex information into clear, compelling internal narratives.

Key Responsibilities

Internal Communication Strategy

- Support the development and execution of the internal communications strategy aligned with business goals.
- Plan communication calendars for leadership updates, organizational announcements, and key initiatives.
- Ensure consistency of messaging, tone, and voice across all internal channels.

Content Creation & Storytelling
- Create high-quality content including emails, newsletters, intranet articles, leadership messages, FAQs, and presentations.
- Translate business updates, change initiatives, and leadership priorities into clear, employee-friendly communication.
- Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and brand alignment.

Leadership & Stakeholder Communication
- Partner with senior leaders and HR to craft leadership messages, town halls, and internal campaigns.




- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders on effective internal communication approaches.
- Coordinate inputs from multiple teams/partners and synthesize them into cohesive messaging.

Channels & Engagement
- Manage and optimize internal communication channels such as email, intranet, collaboration tools (Teams/Slack), and digital noticeboards.
- Track engagement metrics (open rates, feedback, participation) and recommend improvements.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and internal campaigns

Skills

- Robust written and verbal communication skills.

Tools & Capabilities

- Experience with intranet platforms, email tools, and collaboration platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, Slack).
- Working knowledge of PowerPoint and basic design tools (Canva, Adobe, etc.) is a plus.
