Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.

The Interior

Designer will meet with clients to understand their requirements, budgets, and aesthetic preferences, and translate these into functional and appealing interior design concepts. The role involves preparing layout plans, mood boards, 2D/3D drawings, and material boards; selecting furniture, finishes, fixtures, and décor items; and coordinating with vendors, contractors, and internal project teams to ensure timely and quality execution.

The Interior

Designer will conduct site visits, oversee installation and fit-outs, manage design changes,



and maintain clear communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle. The role also includes staying current with design trends, cost-effective solutions, and Livspace’s design standards and processes.

Qualifications

- Strong interior design skills, including space planning, concept development, and residential design; ability to create functional layouts and cohesive design themes.
- Proficiency in design and visualization tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar 2D/3D software; comfort with basic MS Office and digital collaboration tools.
- Solid understanding of materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and color theory; ability to recommend durable, cost-effective, and aesthetically suitable options.
- Effective client-facing communication and presentation skills; ability to explain design concepts clearly and manage expectations throughout the project.
- Robust project coordination and time-management abilities, including working with vendors, contractors, and cross-functional teams to meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset, with the capacity to handle design revisions, site constraints, and budget considerations.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in residential interiors.
- Prior experience in home interiors or renovation projects, preferably in a fast-paced or technology-enabled design environment; familiarity with the Mumbai market is an advantage
