Role Description This part-time, remote Interior Design Engineer (Faculty) role focuses on teaching, mentoring, and guiding learners in interior design engineering principles and applied practices. The faculty member will prepare and deliver online lectures, develop course materials, assignments, and project briefs, and review student work to provide constructive feedback. Day-to-day responsibilities include demonstrating design workflows, supervising CAD-based interior design projects,



and integrating mechanical and electrical engineering considerations into design solutions.

The role also involves staying current with industry trends, collaborating with other instructors on curriculum enhancement, and contributing to a positive, inclusive, and professional learning environment.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess prior teaching, training, or mentoring experience, with transparent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse learners.
- Candidates should possess the ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage part-time teaching schedules, and collaborate effectively with a distributed team.
- Relevant academic qualifications in Interior Design, Design Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or a closely related field are preferred.
- Familiarity with international building codes, sustainability principles, and current interior design industry practices is beneficial.
