Role Description The Inspection Engineer role at Vutto is an in office position based in Jaipur.

The Inspection

Engineer will perform detailed technical and visual inspections of pre-owned two-wheelers to assess mechanical, electrical, and overall quality condition. Day-to-day tasks include conducting standardized testing procedures, identifying defects or maintenance requirements, documenting findings in inspection reports, and ensuring vehicles meet Vutto’s quality control standards before listing on the platform. The role also involves collaborating closely with operations and sales teams to provide accurate condition assessments, supporting pricing decisions,



and recommending repairs or refurbishments where needed.

The Inspection

Engineer will help refine inspection checklists and processes to continuously improve reliability and customer trust.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Quality Control and Inspection skills, with experience applying standardized procedures and checklists.
- Candidates should possess core Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering skills relevant to two-wheeler systems and components.
- Candidates should possess hands-on Testing skills, including functional tests, road tests, and performance checks for used vehicles.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Automobile, or Electrical Engineering (or related field) is preferred.
- Prior experience in vehicle inspection, service, or quality assurance in the automotive or two-wheeler sector is an advantage.
- Attention to detail, strong documentation skills, and the ability to make clear, data-backed judgments on vehicle condition.
- Comfort working on-site in workshop or yard environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Basic computer literacy for using inspection tools, mobile apps, and reporting systems.
