Industrial Structural Design Engineer Position :

Industrial Structural Design Engineer Location : As per Company Requirement (India) with International Travel Qualification

- B.Tech./B.E. in Civil Engineering from a reputed university/institute (Mandatory).
- M.Tech./M.E. in Structural Engineering shall be considered a significant advantage.
- Additional certifications in Structural Design, Steel Structures, or relevant engineering software will be preferred.

Experience

- Minimum 4–10 years of relevant experience in industrial structural design.
- Experience in consultancy, EPC, PMC, or industrial infrastructure projects is preferred.
- Hands-on experience in international projects will be an added advantage.
- Preferred Industry Experience Candidates having prior experience in the design of any of the following industrial facilities shall be given preference:
- Cement Plants
- Clinker Plants
- Power Plants
- Water & Wastewater Treatment Plants
- Steel Plants • Manufacturing & Industrial Facilities
- Process Plants
- Heavy Industrial Structures
- Renewable Energy Projects
- Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design of industrial steel and RCC structures.
- Prepare and review structural calculations, design reports, and engineering documents.
- Develop and review structural general arrangement drawings, fabrication drawings, connection details, and construction drawings.
- Coordinate with architectural, mechanical, electrical, piping, and process engineering teams.
- Review consultant/vendor drawings and ensure compliance with applicable design standards and project specifications.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ), Material Take-Offs (MTO), and steel quantity estimation from engineering drawings.
- Provide technical guidance during engineering,



procurement, and construction stages.
- Attend client meetings and technical discussions.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations and design reviews to clients and project stakeholders.
- Support authority submissions and technical approvals wherever required.
- Visit project sites for design verification, coordination, inspections, and technical support Software Proficiency (Mandatory) Candidates should possess hands-on working knowledge of:
- STAAD. Pro • ETABS • SAFE • AutoCAD • Microsoft Excel Technical Competencies
- Industrial steel structure design
- RCC structural design

- International design codes and standards Knowledge of Codes Working knowledge of one or more of the following:
- IS Codes • AISC • ACI • Eurocodes • BS Standards • ASCE • IBC
- Other international structural design standards Travel Requirement
- The candidate should be willing to undertake domestic and international travel for client meetings, site visits, design coordination, inspections, and project execution as required.

Selection Preference

- Preference shall be given to candidates who: • Have worked on large-scale industrial projects. • Possess experience in international engineering consultancy assignments. • Have exposure to GCC, Middle East, African, or other overseas projects. • Demonstrate robust expertise in industrial steel structures and fabrication engineering. • Can independently handle client presentations, multidisciplinary coordination, and project deliverables.
