About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced and highly responsible HR Manager to take complete ownership of the HR function for our growing mithai and food retail organization with 200+ employees across multiple locations.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in HR Operations, Payroll, Labour Law Compliance, Employee Relations and Statutory Compliance and should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-outlet operational environment.

This is a hands-on HR role. The candidate should be willing to regularly visit outlets, production areas and staff accommodation and actively handle employee-related matters on the ground.

Key ResponsibilitiesHR Operations· Manage complete day-to-day HR operations for 200+ employees.

· Ensure HR policies, procedures and SOPs are implemented across all locations.

· Coordinate with Outlet Managers, Production Managers and Department Heads.

· Handle employee grievances, discipline and HR-related issues.

· Conduct regular HR rounds across outlets and operational locations.

Payroll & Attendance· Take complete ownership of monthly payroll processing.

· Verify biometric attendance, leave, late coming, absenteeism and overtime.

· Prepare accurate payroll inputs and coordinate with Accounts for salary processing.

· Maintain employee salary and attendance records.

· Handle employee salary and payroll-related queries.

Statutory & Labour Compliance· Take complete responsibility for HR statutory and labour law compliance.

· Handle PF, ESI, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund, Gratuity, Bonus and other applicable compliances.

· Ensure compliance with applicable Shops & Establishments / Factory / Labour laws.

· Maintain statutory registers, records and employee documentation.

· Ensure timely filing of statutory returns.





· Coordinate with labour consultants and government authorities when required.

· Keep management updated on important compliance requirements and risks.

Recruitment & Manpower· Handle end-to-end recruitment for outlets, production, kitchen and support functions.

· Plan manpower requirements with Operations and Department Heads.

· Screen candidates, conduct HR interviews and coordinate selection.

· Manage joining formalities and employee induction.

· Monitor vacancies and recruitment turnaround time.

Employee Records & HR Administration· Maintain complete and accurate employee files and HR records.

· Manage appointment letters, employee documents, leave records, disciplinary records and exit documentation.

· Maintain accurate HRMS/employee master data.

· Handle employee joining, confirmation, transfer, promotion and exit formalities.

Employee Discipline & Grievance Handling· Maintain discipline across all locations.

· Handle absenteeism, misconduct, negligence and other employee issues.

· Conduct investigations and maintain proper documentation.

· Issue warning/show-cause letters wherever required.

· Handle employee grievances fairly and confidentially.

Staff Accommodation· Conduct regular physical rounds and inspections of staff accommodation.

· Monitor cleanliness, discipline, occupancy and employee welfare.

· Ensure accommodation rules are followed.

· Address accommodation-related employee issues.

· Coordinate with Administration/Maintenance for repairs and facility requirements.

HR MIS & ReportingPrepare regular HR reports for management covering:

· Headcount

· Attendance & absenteeism

· Recruitment

· Resignations & attrition





· Payroll

· Overtime

· Leave

· Statutory compliance

· Employee disciplinary cases

· Staff accommodation

· Vacancies and manpower status

Candidate Requirements· 10+ years of HR experience with strong experience in HR Operations.

· Experience handling 150–300+ employees preferred.

· Strong practical knowledge of Indian Labour Laws and Statutory Compliance.

· Hands-on experience in Payroll, Attendance, PF, ESI and HR Administration.

· Experience managing blue-collar and operational employees.

· Experience in Mithai, Food Manufacturing, Retail, FMCG, Restaurant or Hospitality industry will be preferred.

· Experience in a multi-outlet / multi-location organization will be an advantage.

· Good knowledge of HRMS, payroll and biometric attendance systems.

· Strong communication and employee-handling skills.

· Should be firm, fair, disciplined and approachable.

· Should be willing to travel between outlets and operational locations.

· Should be comfortable handling staff accommodation inspections and field HR activities.
