Profile: Recruiter (HR)

Reporting To: EA/ MD

We are looking for a proactive and result-oriented Recruiter to manage end-to-end recruitment for Serene. The role will primarily focus on hiring quality and performance-driven candidates for sales, telecalling, CRM, and support functions.

Key Responsibility

- Understand manpower requirements and prepare recruitment plans accordingly.
- Source candidates through Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed, references, consultants, and local networks.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate interviews.
- Coordinate interviews with department heads and management.
- Evaluate candidates based on skills, experience, communication, stability, and role fit.
- Handle salary discussions, negotiate offers, and coordinate offer rollouts.
- Follow up with selected candidates throughout the joining process.
- Maintain an active candidate database and backup pipeline for critical positions.
- Conduct reference and employment verification wherever required.
- Maintain daily and weekly recruitment reports and track hiring progress.
- Build strong relationships with recruitment consultants, agencies, colleges, and candidate networks.
- Monitor recruitment costs and portal performance.




- Ensure selected candidates join on time and support improved employee retention.

- Vacancies closed within the required timeline
- Qualified interviews arranged
- Selection-to-joining ratio
- Average time to close vacancies
- 30-day and 90-day retention of new hires
- Recruitment cost per hire
- Availability of backup candidates for key positions

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Graduate; MBA/PGDM in HR preferred.
- 2–4 years of recruitment experience.
- Experience in sales, telecalling, CRM, or target-based hiring preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed, and Excel/Google Sheets.
- Excellent communication, interviewing, follow-up, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to handle recruitment independently from sourcing to joining.
- Robust candidate network in Chandigarh, Mohali, Zirakpur, and nearby areas.
- Positive understanding of recruitment metrics and candidate evaluation.

Preferred Background

- Candidates with recruitment experience in real estate, insurance, banking, automobile, hospitality, or other sales-driven industries will be preferred.
