We are looking for a proactive, organized and people-oriented Associate – Human Resources to join our growing HR team. This role will provide hands-on exposure to multiple areas of Human Resources, including Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Employee Engagement, Performance Management and HR Analytics.
The ideal candidate should be someone who enjoys working with people, takes ownership of their work and is comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone who can go beyond simply executing HR processes, someone who can identify gaps, solve problems and contribute ideas to continuously improve the employee experience.
What You Will Do:
Talent Acquisition
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for assigned positions, from sourcing and screening to interview coordination and offer rollout.
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand hiring requirements and build relevant candidate pipelines.
- Source candidates through LinkedIn, Naukri, employee referrals and other relevant channels.
- Conduct initial candidate screening and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
- Maintain recruitment trackers and ensure timely follow-ups throughout the hiring process.
- Track recruitment metrics such as hiring TAT, source effectiveness, pipeline conversion and offer acceptance.
- Support employer branding, campus hiring and other recruitment initiatives.
HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
- Manage employee onboarding and ensure a smooth joining experience.
- Maintain employee records, HR documentation and HRMS data accurately.
- Support employee lifecycle processes including confirmation, transfers, promotions, documentation and exits.
- Act as a point of contact for employees for routine HR-related queries.
- Coordinate with payroll, insurance and other internal/external stakeholders on employee-related matters.
- Ensure HR processes and policies are implemented consistently.
Employee Engagement & Experience
- Support the planning and execution of employee engagement initiatives and company events.
- Coordinate employee activities, celebrations, team engagement programs and internal initiatives.
- Support initiatives aimed at improving employee experience and workplace culture.
- Gather employee feedback and identify recurring concerns or opportunities for improvement.
- Contribute ideas and initiatives that improve employee engagement and retention.
Performance & Talent Management
- Support the annual performance appraisal and review cycle.
- Coordinate goal-setting, review timelines, documentation and follow-ups with employees and managers.
- Support performance improvement processes and maintain relevant documentation.
- Assist with talent management initiatives and other employee development programs.
- Ensure timely completion of performance-related processes.
HR Analytics & Reporting
- Maintain HR dashboards and MIS covering headcount, hiring, attrition, attendance, engagement and other key HR metrics.
- Analyse HR data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
- Prepare regular HR reports and presentations for management reviews.
- Support data-driven decision-making across HR initiatives.
HR Projects & Process Improvement
- Work closely with the Senior Manager – Human Resources on HR projects and initiatives.
- Support the development and implementation of HR policies and processes.
- Identify gaps in existing HR processes and recommend practical improvements.
- Look for opportunities to streamline and automate routine HR processes.
- Take ownership of assigned projects and drive them through to completion.
What We Are Looking For
- 1–3 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a startup, high-growth organisation, consulting firm or similar workplace.
- Exposure to Talent Acquisition is mandatory.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good stakeholder management skills and the ability to interact confidently with employees and managers across levels.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential employee information with discretion and maturity.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
