Techno-Functional Expert

Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Techno-Functional Expert to serve as a critical link between business objectives and technical execution within the skills development sector. This role is pivotal for designing, deploying, and refining digital solutions that enhance apprenticeship programs, ITI systems, and broader government skilling initiatives. The successful candidate will leverage deep domain knowledge and technical acumen to drive the optimization of platforms that support the national skills ecosystem, ensuring seamless alignment between stakeholder needs and system capabilities.

Responsibilities

- Serve as the primary liaison between business units and technical teams, effectively converting functional requirements into exact technical specifications.
- Spearhead the architecture, development, and continuous improvement of digital ecosystems dedicated to managing training, apprenticeships, and skill acquisition.
- Conduct comprehensive analysis and documentation of business workflows, operational processes, and system logic specific to skilling initiatives.
- Facilitate the end-to-end implementation, integration, and rigorous testing of applications deployed within the skills management landscape.
- Collaborate with government entities,



training partners, and internal stakeholders to optimize operational workflows and enhance the overall user experience of digital platforms.

Requirements

- Proven expertise in business process analysis, solution architecture, and strategic design.
- Demonstrated proficiency with enterprise-grade applications, database management, and complex system integrations.
- Ability to author detailed functional specifications and high-quality technical documentation.
- Solid grasp of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and established project implementation frameworks.
- Exceptional analytical capabilities, problem-solving aptitude, and experience in managing diverse stakeholder relationships.
- Familiarity with data analytics, reporting mechanisms, and dashboard creation is highly desirable.

Preferred Experience

- A minimum of 10–12 years of professional experience in techno-functional capacities, with a specific focus on government-led projects, specialized skilling platforms, or large-scale digital transformation efforts.
- Prior engagement with skill development agencies, public sector departments, or major training providers is considered a significant advantage.
