Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Drafter based in the Pune Division. The HVAC Drafter will prepare accurate ducting layouts, equipment drawings, and detailed shop drawings for air conditioning and ventilation projects.

Responsibilities include interpreting design inputs, coordinating with MEP teams, and ensuring drawings comply with project specifications, standards, and safety requirements. The role involves updating drawings based on site conditions and engineering feedback, maintaining drawing documentation,



and supporting project engineers with technical information. The HVAC Drafter will collaborate closely with project managers, site supervisors, and installation teams to facilitate smooth execution of HVAC works.

Qualifications

- HVAC knowledge and practical understanding of HVAC systems and HVAC design concepts.
- Proficiency in ducting design and layout, including routing, sizing, and coordination with architectural and structural elements.
- Experience in preparing shop drawings and construction-ready documentation for HVAC and ventilation systems.
- MEP coordination skills to align HVAC drawings with electrical, plumbing, and fire-fighting services.
- Ability to use CAD or similar drafting software for 2D and 3D HVAC drawings (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit or equivalent).
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy in drafting, and ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Good communication and collaboration skills for working with engineers, project managers, and site teams.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent technical qualification in HVAC drafting.
- Prior experience in commercial or industrial HVAC projects is an advantage.
