WARD FOUR Design is looking for a Healthcare Architect with hands-on hospital experience and the confidence to take ownership of a project, not just their part of the drawing set.

At this level, we expect you to understand how hospitals actually work. That means clinical flows, departmental relationships, services, equipment, detailing, coordination and the practical realities that show up during construction.

What You’ll Do

- Work on healthcare projects from planning through documentation and construction.




- Turn clinical requirements and workflows into clear, workable plans.
- Prepare and review detailed drawings and GFC packages.
- Coordinate with structure, MEPF, equipment, interiors and other consultants.
- Pick up coordination issues early and help solve them before they become site problems.
- Participate in client, consultant and site meetings.
- Support and guide junior architects where required.
- Take responsibility for the quality and completeness of your work.

What We’re Looking For
- B.Arch with 5–8 years of professional experience.
- Healthcare architecture experience is mandatory.
- A good understanding of hospital planning, workflows and departmental adjacencies.
- Strong detailing and documentation skills.
- Good coordination and problem-solving ability.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp.
- Revit/BIM experience is a plus.
- Clear communication, positive judgement and the ability to work independently.
- Must be willing to travel
