Head – E-commerce Growth Location: Mumbai

Experience: 7–12 years

Categories: Food & Beverage | Wellness | Personal Care | Lifestyle | Performance Nutrition

We are building and scaling a house of consumer brands across multiple categories and are looking for an experienced E-commerce Growth leader to build the growth engine across the portfolio.

This is not a marketplace management or performance marketing role.

We are looking for someone who has actually grown consumer brands across Webstores, Marketplaces and Quick Commerce — and understands the numbers behind that growth.

The MandateYour first job is not to spend more money on growth.

Your first job is to understand what's happening today.

Across each brand, diagnose:

- Traffic and acquisition mix
- CAC / ROAS
- Webstore conversion
- Product page conversion
- Cart and checkout drop-offs
- AOV
- SKU productivity
- Current vs repeat customers
- Cohort behaviour
- Repeat purchase rate
- LTV
- Marketplace performance
- Quick-commerce performance
- Pricing and promotions
- Gross and contribution margins

Identify where revenue is leaking and build a clear 90-day Growth Fix Plan for each brand. Then Build the Growth EngineWebstoreOwn the complete D2C funnel:

Traffic → Discovery → PDP → Cart → Checkout → Purchase → Repeat

Drive improvements across CRO, merchandising, bundles, pricing, offers, landing pages, UX, A/B testing and customer journeys.

The objective is not simply to acquire more traffic.

It is to make existing traffic convert better before scaling acquisition.

MarketplacesBuild and scale the portfolio across relevant marketplaces.

Own listings, discoverability,

search ranking, ratings, reviews, marketplace advertising, promotions, pricing, inventory availability, SKU strategy and contribution economics.

Quick CommerceBuild the quick-commerce playbook across relevant platforms and brands.

Determine the right cities, platforms, SKUs, pack sizes, pricing, promotions and availability strategy — and turn quick commerce into a meaningful revenue channel.

Retention & LoyaltyBuild a portfolio-wide retention engine across:

- CRM
- WhatsApp
- Email
- Customer segmentation
- Replenishment journeys
- Cross-sell and upsell
- Win-back journeys
- Loyalty programmes
- Referrals
- Subscriptions where relevant
- Community-led retention

The goal is to systematically improve repeat rate, purchase frequency and customer lifetime value. The Numbers You Will OwnWe expect this person to live inside the growth dashboard:

Revenue | Conversion | CAC | ROAS | AOV | Repeat Rate | LTV | Gross Margin | Contribution Margin | Channel Mix

Different brands will require different growth strategies.

Your job is to understand which lever matters for which brand, at which stage of growth.

Who We're Looking ForIdeally, you have:

- 7–12 years in D2C / consumer e-commerce
- Personally helped scale one or more consumer brands

- Strong experience across Webstore + Marketplaces + Quick Commerce
- Strong understanding of CRO and e-commerce analytics
- Hands-on experience with marketplace growth
- Experience scaling brands on quick-commerce platforms
- Understanding of performance marketing economics
- Experience building CRM, retention and loyalty programmes
- Strong understanding of CAC, LTV, cohorts and contribution margins
- Experience across food & beverage, wellness, personal care, lifestyle or performance nutrition is preferred
- Ability to move comfortably between strategy, analytics and execution

What Success Looks LikeFirst 30 Days — Diagnose Understand every brand, channel, funnel and key metric. Establish the baseline and identify the biggest growth leaks.

30–90 Days — Fix

Improve conversion, merchandising, marketplace performance, CRM, retention and channel economics.

3–6 Months — Prove

Demonstrate measurable improvement in conversion, AOV, repeat rate, CAC efficiency and channel productivity.

6–18 Months — Scale

Build a repeatable, profitable multi-channel growth engine across the portfolio.

The Person We WantWe are looking for an operator, not an observer.

Someone who can look at a dashboard and ask:

Where exactly are we losing growth?

What should we fix first?

What happens to the economics if we fix it?

And once it works — how aggressively can we scale it?

If you have helped take consumer brands from one stage of growth to another and can show us the numbers behind that journey, we'd like to speak with you.
