Role Description The Head HVAC role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. This role oversees the design, review, and implementation of HVAC systems across multiple projects, ensuring compliance with technical standards, safety regulations, and client requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading HVAC design activities, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, reviewing CAD drawings and MEP layouts, and resolving technical issues during design and execution phases.

The Head HVAC will manage project timelines, allocate resources, mentor and guide HVAC engineers and designers, and collaborate closely with project management to ensure project delivery within scope, budget, and schedule. The role also involves supporting business development with technical inputs, maintaining quality standards,



and contributing to process improvements and best practices in HVAC engineering.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering with applied experience in HVAC system design and engineering.
- Proficiency in Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) coordination, including integration of HVAC with other building services.
- Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for reviewing and guiding detailed HVAC and MEP drawings.
- Demonstrated Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Effective Team Management capabilities, with experience leading and mentoring multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Familiarity with relevant codes and standards for HVAC, safety, and building services design.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with attention to detail.
- Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline; advanced certifications in HVAC or MEP design are an advantage.
- Prior experience in an engineering design consultancy workplace, preferably in building services and large-scale projects.
