About The Role

DGS Group is expanding rapidly across Mumbai’s Western corridor, currently managing an active portfolio of 50 concurrent residential/commercial projects, with multiple new flagship launches scheduled before year-end. We are seeking an accomplished Head of Civil Engineering to lead end-to-end site execution, drive technical R&D;, and aggressively scale our core engineering workforce from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

Multi-Project Execution: Oversee site engineering, structural execution, quality control, and safety protocols across 50+ concurrent project sites on the Western Line.

Aggressive Team Building: Lead the recruitment, structural organization, onboarding, and mentoring of site engineers, project managers, billing engineers, and quality specialists.

Engineering R&D; &

- Innovation:Evaluate advanced construction technologies, contemporary shuttering systems (Mivan/aluform), high-performance concrete mixes, and value-engineering practices to optimize cost and speed.

Launch Readiness: Drive fast-track site mobilization, infrastructure setup, and resource allocation for 10 upcoming project launches.

Liaison &

- Compliance: Coordinate with structural consultants, MEP designers, architects, and liaison teams to ensure zero execution bottlenecks.

Cost &
- Timeline Optimization: Enforce strict budget adherence, material reconciliation, and progress milestones across all sites.

Standard Operating Procedures (SOP Guidelines)

Multi-Site Daily Review: Daily morning sync via ERP/project trackers with cluster project managers to track concrete pours, labor strength, and critical path blockers.

Hiring &

- Induction Protocol: Conduct weekly technical panel reviews to assess candidate competencies in structural detailing, bar bending schedules (BBS), and site logistics.

Engineering R&D; Review: Monthly technical evaluation of alternative materials, MEP-civil integration methods, and cycle-time reduction techniques.

Quality &

- Safety Assurance: Mandatory weekly QA/QC audits, cube-test tracking, and weekly toolbox safety compliance meetings across every site cluster.

Procurement &
- Material Approval: Strict 48-hour SLA for structural drawing verification, site requisitions, and vendor sample sign-offs.

Candidate Requirements

B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech in Civil Engineering.

10–18+ years of hardcore site execution and engineering leadership experience in high-rise residential/commercial projects in Mumbai.

Proven track record of managing large-scale multi-site operations simultaneously.

Exceptional leadership skills with direct experience in building large engineering teams from scratch.
