Overview:
Responsible for managing the company’s IT hardware infrastructure, networking, systems, CCTV surveillance, access-control systems and plant technology infrastructure across manufacturing facilities. The role will ensure reliable IT operations, strong surveillance coverage, data security and rapid resolution of technical issues.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
IT & HARDWARE
- Manage desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, biometric systems and other IT hardware.
- Install, configure and maintain operating systems, software and hardware.
- Manage IT assets, asset tagging, allocation and inventory records.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network and connectivity issues.
- Maintain LAN/WAN, switches, routers, Wi-Fi and basic network infrastructure.
- Coordinate internet, ISP and telecom-related issues.
- Maintain backup systems and ensure availability of critical business data.
- Manage user access, passwords, permissions and IT security controls.
- Support ERP/SAP connectivity and plant-level IT requirements.
- Maintain IT preventive-maintenance schedules.
- Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers.
- Maintain IT documentation, AMC records, service reports and asset registers.
CCTV & SURVEILLANCE MANAGEMENT
- Manage complete CCTV infrastructure across all plants, warehouses, offices and critical areas.
- Plan CCTV camera locations based on security, food-safety and operational requirements.
- Install, configure and maintain IP/analog cameras, NVR/DVR, monitors,
storage and networking equipment.
- Ensure continuous recording and proper functioning of all critical cameras.
- Monitor CCTV uptime and immediately rectify camera/network/storage failures.
- Maintain CCTV recording retention as per company policy and applicable requirements.
- Establish surveillance coverage for production areas, warehouses, entrances, dispatch, material movement and other critical locations.
- Manage access-control systems, biometric attendance and entry systems where applicable.
- Maintain CCTV camera mapping, numbering and location records.
- Conduct regular CCTV health checks and preventive maintenance.
- Coordinate with Security, HR, Stores, Production, QA and Management for surveillance requirements.
- Ensure CCTV footage is protected against unauthorized access, deletion or tampering.
- Provide footage only against authorized management/security requirements.
- Maintain incident logs, CCTV downtime reports and corrective-action records.
- Support investigation of theft, material movement, safety incidents, quality incidents and security violations through authorized surveillance review.
MANAGEMENT & CONTROL
- Develop IT and surveillance preventive-maintenance plans.
- Maintain critical-spares inventory for IT and CCTV systems.
- Prepare monthly IT/CCTV performance reports.
- Track downtime and ensure timely closure of technical complaints.
- Manage external AMC/service partners.
- Recommend system upgrades, replacements and technology improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies, cybersecurity controls and confidentiality requirements.
- Maintain emergency support for critical plant IT and surveillance failures.

EDUCATION

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Candidates with experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, factories, warehouses, industrial plants or multi-site manufacturing environments will be preferred.
IMPORTANT EXPECTATION The candidate must be capable of independently managing plant IT infrastructure + hardware + networking + CCTV/surveillance systems, coordinating vendors and ensuring uninterrupted availability of critical systems.
