Role Description The Group Product Manager is a full-time, in office role based in Bengaluru, responsible for leading the strategy and performance of a portfolio of pharmaceutical brands. The role involves defining product strategy, overseeing the product lifecycle, and driving portfolio growth through market analysis and positioning. Daily activities include monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and prescription data, collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Medical, R&D;, and Supply Chain, and developing marketing plans and brand communication.
The Group Product
Manager will guide and mentor product management teams, review campaign effectiveness,
manage budgets, and ensure alignment with regulatory, quality, and ethical standards. The role also includes preparing performance reports and presenting insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Product Strategy and Product Management skills, including portfolio planning, positioning, and lifecycle management.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret market data, prescription trends, sales performance, and competitive intelligence.
- Candidates should possess proven Team Leadership abilities to guide product managers, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and drive execution.
- Candidates should possess experience in Product Development, preferably in pharmaceutical or healthcare, including coordinating with R&D;, Medical, and Regulatory teams.
- Relevant experience of several years in pharmaceutical marketing or product management, with exposure to multiple therapeutic areas, is highly beneficial.
- A graduate degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent in Marketing or Healthcare Management is an advantage.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
- Commitment to ethical practices, compliance with regulatory guidelines, and alignment with the organization’s social responsibility values.
