Position Overview

We are looking for a Senior Technical Grant & Proposal Writer who can do much more than prepare documents based on an RFP.

The ideal candidate will be able to:

- Identify relevant government, development-sector, CSR, ESG and institutional opportunities.
- Understand complex RFPs, tenders, EoIs, grant calls and funding opportunities.
- Understand the underlying healthcare/social-impact problem.
- Translate that problem into a compelling technology-enabled solution.
- Work closely with Kavintech's technical team to design a technically sound approach.
- Recommend newer technologies, development methodologies, architectures and implementation approaches.
- Identify opportunities to reduce development timelines and project costs without compromising quality.
- Understand architecture and technology requirements.
- Validate technical feasibility.
- Develop solution architecture and implementation approaches.
- Estimate development effort.
- Develop proposals that demonstrate measurable impact, innovation, scalability and sustainability.
- Track upcoming opportunities in healthcare, digital health, public health, social impact, ESG, CSR, education and related sectors.
- Anticipate what evaluators, government bodies, funders and development organisations are likely to expect.
- Analyse eligibility criteria, technical requirements, evaluation criteria, deliverables, timelines and commercial requirements.
- Challenge conventional approaches and suggest better ways of delivering the project.
- Identify implicit requirements that may not be explicitly stated in the RFP.
- Convert an RFP requirement into a winning technical and programmatic proposition.
