Sia Partners is hiring a Generative AI Engineer to help design and deliver business-centric GenAI solutions across industries. The role sits in a cross-functional consulting team and focuses on building scalable, secure, and production-ready AI applications.

Experience

- 5+ years of experience in NLP/ML/AI
- At least 3 years of hands-on GenAI experience
- Strong coding skills in Python
- Excellent communication skills
- Sharp problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate with diverse teams

Qualification

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, AI, or a related field
- Master's degree in computer science, AI, or a related field

Responsibilities

- Serve as a link between Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and Platform Engineers
- Work with customers to understand business requirements and design bespoke GenAI solutions
- Help customers choose between semantic search, RAG, agents, and fine-tuning based on value and cost
- Build applications powered by LLMs using GenAI frameworks
- Implement RAG pipelines with vector databases for grounded responses
- Develop multimodal AI solutions and autonomous agents where relevant
- Design robust and reusable prompt templates
- Continuously improve model reliability, relevance, and UX
- Deploy GenAI models on cloud platforms
- Ensure performance observability,

- Integrate GenAI solutions into microservices and APIs with DevOps teams
- Benchmark LLMs for use-case fit and cost-performance tradeoffs
- Evaluate fine-tuning strategies for proprietary use cases
- Support solution architects and cross-functional teams in PoCs and enterprise rollouts
- Document frameworks, best practices, risks, and learnings

Additional Responsibilities

- Start with benchmarks of candidate foundation models through targeted requests
- Rapidly iterate prototypes
- Validate product ideas
- Orchestrate the AI workflow and integrate advanced model capabilities into applications
- Navigate prompts, chains, and agents while handling infrastructure challenges
- Drive MLOps excellence through pipeline and release practices

Nice To Have

- Open-source and commercial LLM benchmarking experience
- Experience with proprietary use cases requiring fine-tuning
- Experience with multimodal AI
- Experience building autonomous agents
