ROLE OVERVIEW

Drogo Aerospace is looking for an experienced and results-driven General Manager – Business Development (Defence) to lead business development initiatives across the Indian defence and homeland security sectors.

The ideal candidate should have a strong defence industry background, established understanding of defence procurement processes, and experience working with the Indian Army, Air Force, Navy, CAPFs, defence PSUs, government agencies, or defence technology companies.

The role will focus on identifying strategic opportunities, building relationships with defence stakeholders, participating in tenders and trials, developing partnerships, and driving business for Drogo Aerospace's indigenous UAV and defence technology portfolio.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

- 5–8 years of relevant experience in Defence / Aerospace / UAV / Drone / Defence Electronics / Homeland Security business development.
- Prior experience working with or selling to the Indian Armed Forces, CAPFs, Defence PSUs or Government organisations is strongly preferred.
- Retired military personnel preferred
- Experience handling defence tenders, RFPs, demonstrations, field trials and government procurement processes.
- Solid network within the defence ecosystem will be an added advantage.
- Experience in UAVs, drones, surveillance systems, aerospace systems, defence electronics or autonomous technologies is highly desirable.
