Role Description The General Manager is a full-time, in office role based in Coimbatore, responsible for overseeing the overall operations and strategic growth of C V Raman Academy. In this role, the individual will manage academic and administrative functions, coordinate with faculty and staff, and ensure that training programs are delivered efficiently and to a high standard. Daily tasks include monitoring student enrollment and performance metrics, optimizing schedules and resource allocation, and implementing processes that improve service quality and learner outcomes.

The General

Manager will also handle budgeting and financial oversight, maintain compliance with relevant regulations,



and lead initiatives to enhance parent and student engagement. Collaboration with senior leadership to plan new programs, marketing activities, and partnerships will be an important part of the role.

Qualifications

- Robust leadership and people management skills, including team supervision, performance monitoring, and conflict resolution capabilities.
- Operational and administrative management skills, such as process optimization, resource planning, and organizational coordination.
- Financial and business management skills, including budgeting, cost control, and basic understanding of education business metrics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, parents, faculty, and external partners.
- Strategic planning and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement and quality of training delivery.
- Experience in the education or coaching institute sector is highly desirable; familiarity with IIT-JEE or similar competitive exam preparation is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Education Management, or a related field; a master’s degree is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Coimbatore and adapt to a fast-paced academic environment focused on student outcomes.
