Position: Manager-General Accounting

Roles & Responsibility: You will be a part of team that will set up framework for efficient and effective business processes by adopting a global shoring model. You will have a unique opportunity enhance and maintain up-to-date knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP, and support preparation of financial statements in local GAAP, IFRS and US GAAP for multiple entities.

Responsibilities & Deliverables: Your deliverables will include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Lease workings & accounting under USGAAP & IFRS 16
- Property Plant & Equipment (PP&E;) workings & accounting
- Inhouse software capitalisation workings & accounting
- Computation of Intercompany Cross charges involving co-ordination with tax team , legal team
- Follow existing operational guidelines and drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize team workflows.




- Compute and post GAAP accounting entries (leases, intangibles, impairment and other GAAP adjustments)
- Manage ad-hoc requirements from various stakeholders – Tax team, FP&A;, Corporate team
- Assist in sharing information for tax assessments based on requirements from tax team
- Period end close in compliance with associated company policies, procedures and internal controls
- Variance analysis of P & L, B & S
- Review of Accounts, Balance-sheet Reconciliations.
- Manage & lead local statutory audits for entities
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate smoothly with internal finance, tax, and legal departments.
- External Partner Management: Act as the main point of contact for external consultants and auditors.
- Communication: Share updates and data clearly between all internal and external groups
- Drive accuracy and timeliness of all deliverables
- Demonstrate robust controls ensuring compliance all group policies and procedures

- Deep understanding of basic accounting principles and their application
- Strong communication and customer service orientation
- Strong problem solving and organizational skills

- Expertise of working on MS office, usage of AI tools
- Knowledge of Accounting system- Net suite (Oracle)

Work Experience: 4-6 years’ experience in similar role post qualification of CA
