In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Project & Service Engineer with guidance from Engineering Manager is responsible for leading and managing the projects and services. He or she will be responsible for site management of projects along with his/her service assignment. Moreover, this Engineer will be working with customer to coordinate technical matters, attend project and sales meetings, do site surveys, and perform service & maintenance works on Ovation System.
Planning and management:
- Along with the Lead Engineer, review the project scope and schedule.
- Plan the project execution including planning of materials, design and development schedule and resources.
- Assist Operation Manger to prepare POR report for Project Director.
- Prepare site commissioning plan which includes schedule, detailed tasks order and materials logistics.
- Coordinate work between multiple internal and external teams and disciplines.
- Plan, delegate, and monitor work of back-office engineering teams.
- Along with the Lead Engineer, review the project scope and schedule.
- Along with Lead Engineer, prepare site commissioning plan which includes schedule and detailed tasks.

- Be primary contact with customer for all technical queries, clarifications, and discussions.
- Submit design documents to customers for review and approval. Handle customer expectations and promptly respond to comments.
- Lead site commissioning activities, run site teams, prepare progress reports to ensure smooth
- commissioning.
- Lead Technical Sales Meeting along with Sales team.
- Prepare technical solution concept to align with project scope and optimize costs.
- Design system architecture across multiple network levels including DCS networks, field buses,
- datalinks to third party devices and cybersecurity requirements.
- Follow designed system architecture including DCS networks, field buses, datalinks to third party
- devices and cybersecurity requirements. Do vital field modifications when required.
- Plan and perform detailed site surveys to collect all required information from sites.
- Perform data review and seek mandatory clarifications from customers.
- Define project procurement plan for the assigned project.
- Work with procurement team to define required buyouts, along with Lead Engineer evaluation and selecting technical solutions and products proposed by vendors.
- Take overall responsibility for management of suppliers and products and services.
- Quality Control
- Do quality management for engineering results to make sure it meets company policies.
- Conduct internal design reviews which include hardware design, application and control strategies
- design, network design, cybersecurity compliance, process simulation design, performance
- calculations design. Ensure quality of engineering work you're doing.
- Be part of internal design reviews which include hardware design, application and control strategies design, network design, cybersecurity compliance, process simulation design, performance calculations design.
- Proposals/Sales support
- Participate in proposal reviews, consult on technical queries, and provide overall support.
- Perform site walkdowns to support proposal team and define best solution
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
Customer relations:
- Be primary contact with customer for all technical queries, clarifications, and discussions.
- Submit design documents to customers for review and approval. Manage customer expectations and promptly respond to comments.
- Lead site commissioning activities, manage site teams, prepare progress reports to ensure smooth commissioning.
Lead Technical Sales Meeting along with Sales team.
Technical delivery:
- Prepare technical solution concept to comply with project scope and optimize costs.
- Design system architecture across multiple network levels including DCS networks, fieldbuses, datalinks to third party devices and cybersecurity requirements.
- Follow designed system architecture including DCS networks, fieldbuses, datalinks to third party devices and cybersecurity requirements. Do necessary field modifications when required.
- Plan and perform detailed site surveys to collect all required information from site.
- Perform data review and seek necessary clarifications from customer.
- Review field installed devices specifications to identify and select required IO module types and signal converters.
- Review P&IDs; and process flow diagrams to plan IO assignments to meet redundancy levels.
- Work with application engineers to make sure that software applications meet project scope. Review graphics and control strategies.

- Manage and Lead the site services assignment
Procurement and suppliers:
- Define project procurement plan for the assigned project.
- Work with procurement team to define required buyouts, along with Lead Engineer evaluation and selecting technical solution and products proposed by vendors.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Degree in Engineering (Instrumentation & Control, Electrical or Electronics) with 5-6 years of experience in processing automation projects.
- Mandatory knowledge with minimum 7 year’s experience in:
- DCS/PLC/SCADA control systems Design and Troubleshooting & Site Commissioning
- Control Loops (4-20mA), field instruments (PIT, TIT, LS)
- Datalink protocols: Modbus RTU/TCP-IP, IEC60870, IEC61850, OPC
- ICS Networking, Routing and Troubleshooting
- Basic Power plant operation. (Simple Cycle and Combine Cycle)
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Good knowledge of automation in power generation sector with experience in commissioning boilers, steam turbines, combustion turbines, desalination, and water/wastewater plants.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid organizational skills include attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Good knowledge of 3rd party communication configuration and commissioning support.
