Role Description This is a full-time, in office Furniture Designer role based in Greater Noida.

The Furniture

Designer will develop concepts and detailed designs for educational and institutional furniture, ensuring alignment with ergonomics, durability, and safety standards.

Responsibilities include creating technical drawings and 3D models, selecting materials and finishes, collaborating with production, sales, and interior design teams, and refining designs based on feedback from clients and internal stakeholders.



The role involves visiting manufacturing areas to coordinate with carpentry and fabrication teams, conducting design reviews, and ensuring that prototypes and final products meet quality and functional requirements.

The Furniture

Designer will also research trends in furniture and product design, contribute to custom furniture solutions, and support turnkey project execution.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Furniture Design and Product Design, with the ability to create practical and aesthetically pleasing solutions.
- Hands-on understanding of Furniture construction and Carpentry to ensure feasible and efficient manufacturing.
- Knowledge of Interior Design principles for educational and institutional spaces.
- Proficiency in CAD and 3D design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, SolidWorks, or similar).
- Diploma or degree in Furniture Design, Product Design, Interior Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality and safety.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Experience in educational or institutional furniture design is an advantage.
