Technical Developer ServiceNow CMDB

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled ServiceNow CMDB Technical Developer with 4+ years of hands-on experience in CMDB implementation, Discovery, Service Mapping, CMDB migrations, and data ingestion. The candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving CMDB solutions while ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow CMDB solutions and data models.
- Implement and configure ServiceNow Discovery for infrastructure and application discovery.
- Develop and maintain Service Mapping solutions and application service maps.
- Perform one-time CMDB migrations and ensure successful data transformation and reconciliation.
- Develop and maintain incremental data ingestion processes from various data sources.
- Configure and maintain CMDB relationships, CI classes, attributes, and identification rules.
- Monitor and improve CMDB data quality, accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping issues.
- Work closely with infrastructure, application, and technical teams to improve CMDB data quality.
- Support integrations and automated processes for maintaining accurate CI information.




- Follow ServiceNow CMDB best practices, data governance, and configuration standards.

Required Skills:

- 4+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow CMDB implementation and development.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB architecture, data models, CI classes, and relationships.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Discovery.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Service Mapping.
- Experience in CMDB migration and data transformation.
- Experience developing data ingestion and integration processes.
- Strong understanding of CI identification, reconciliation, and data quality.
- Valuable understanding of ServiceNow configuration and customization.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional technical teams.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with ServiceNow IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP integrations, and APIs.
- Knowledge of CMDB Health and data governance.
- Experience with ServiceNow scripting, including JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, and Script Includes.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and ServiceNow platform best practices.

Education:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
