About Bhopal Cares Forum (BCF)
Bhopal Cares Forum (BCF) is a youth-led non-profit organization working towards environmental conservation, community engagement, and sustainable development. Our work includes lake and public space clean-up drives, plantation initiatives, awareness campaigns, community projects, and evidence-based environmental advocacy.
Recently, BCF received 12AB Registration and 80G Approval, allowing eligible donors to claim tax benefits on their contributions.
As we continue to grow, we're looking for someone who enjoys networking, building meaningful relationships, and helping impactful social initiatives secure the resources they need.
---
About the Role
Fundraising is much more than asking for donations.
As a Fundraising & Partnerships Intern, you'll play an important role in helping BCF build relationships with individuals, businesses, foundations, and other organizations that believe in creating social impact.
This internship is ideal for students who are interested in NGOs, social impact, business development, marketing, public relations, sales, or stakeholder management. You'll gain practical, hands-on experience while contributing to projects that make a real difference.
---
What You'll Be Doing
- Research and identify individuals, businesses, foundations, and organizations that may support BCF.
- Reach out to potential donors and partners through calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other professional platforms.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with donors, sponsors, and supporters.
- Assist in preparing fundraising proposals, sponsorship decks, presentations, and outreach material.
- Help plan and execute fundraising and crowdfunding campaigns.
- Follow up with prospective donors and maintain regular communication.
- Maintain an organized database of donors,
leads, meetings, and outreach activities.
- Coordinate with the BCF leadership team on fundraising initiatives and partnership opportunities.
- Identify new fundraising ideas, sponsorship opportunities, and strategic collaborations.
- Represent BCF professionally during meetings, networking events, and stakeholder interactions.
---
Who We're Looking For
We're not looking for years of experience.
We're looking for someone who is:
- Confident communicating with people.
- Comfortable making calls, writing emails, and initiating conversations.
- Good at networking and relationship building.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and willing to learn.
- Organized, responsible, and able to work independently.
- Passionate about creating social and environmental impact.
Students pursuing graduation and individuals interested in fundraising, business development, marketing, public relations, sales, or the social sector are encouraged to apply.
---
Expected Commitment
- Remote internship.
- Flexible working hours.
- Approximately 10–15 hours per week.
- Minimum internship duration: 2 months.
---
What Success Looks Like
By the end of this internship, you should have:
- Built a pipeline of potential donors, sponsors, and partners.
- Successfully converted prospective supporters into contributors.
- Strengthened BCF's fundraising and partnership efforts.
- Developed practical experience in fundraising,
stakeholder management, and professional networking.
---
Perks
- Internship Certificate.
- Letter of Recommendation (based on performance).
- Prospect to work directly with the leadership team of BCF.
- Hands-on experience in fundraising, partnerships, networking, and NGO operations.
- Flexible remote working.
- Opportunity to build a strong professional network.
- Exposure to working with NGOs, businesses, community leaders, and potential partners.
- Opportunity to create measurable social impact.
- Outstanding performers may be offered long-term leadership opportunities within BCF as the organization continues to grow.
---
Compensation
This is a performance-based internship.
At present, BCF is a growing non-profit organization and does not have the financial capacity to offer a fixed monthly stipend.
Instead, interns will receive an incentive of 10% on donations and sponsorships that are directly generated through their own efforts, subject to BCF's fundraising guidelines.
The complete incentive structure and terms will be discussed with shortlisted candidates before onboarding.
This approach allows us to reward meaningful contributions while ensuring that the maximum possible resources continue to support the causes we work for.
---
Why Join BCF?
At BCF, you'll take ownership from day one. You'll work directly with the leadership team, contribute to important decisions, build meaningful partnerships, and play a key role in helping environmental and social initiatives become a reality.
If you're someone who enjoys meeting people, solving problems, building relationships, and creating meaningful impact while gaining practical experience, we'd love to hear from you.
