About This Role

Eizen is expanding its engineering team to support a major client engagement focused on building and scaling AI products. You will own quality across the full stack — frontend, backend, APIs, and AI-powered workflows — and contribute to development where it helps the team move faster.

The primary focus of this role is QA and test automation, with hands-on exposure to React, TypeScript, Python, APIs, and AI applications. Testing AI systems is a different discipline from testing deterministic software:



LLM responses vary, RAG pipelines degrade quietly, and agents fail in ways a pass/fail assertion never catches. If you are drawn to that problem — defining what "correct" even means for a non-deterministic system, and then automating it — this role will suit you.

What You'll Do

- Define and execute test strategy across UI, APIs, backend services, and AI workflows.
- Build and maintain automated UI tests using Playwright or Cypress for React + TypeScript applications.
- Create reusable test automation frameworks and integrate them with CI/CD pipelines.
- Perform API and integration testing for backend services.
- Validate AI workflows including LLM responses, RAG pipelines, agents, and tool execution.
- Perform load and performance testing for APIs and application workflows.
- Debug issues across frontend and backend systems and work closely with developers on fixes.
- Contribute to frontend or backend development using TypeScript or Python when required.
- Validate authentication, authorisation, API security, and common application security scenarios.
- Support production quality through logging, monitoring, test reporting, and defect analysis.

Must-Have Skills

- 3–5 years of experience in QA, SDET, Test Automation, or Quality Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright or Cypress.
- Experience testing React + TypeScript web applications.
- Strong programming skills in TypeScript or Python.
- Experience with API testing, integration testing, and backend validation.
- Good understanding of full-stack applications and frontend–backend interactions.
- Experience building and maintaining automated tests in CI/CD pipelines.




- Working knowledge of performance and load testing using tools such as k6, JMeter, or Locust.
- Exposure to AI/LLM applications, RAG, agents, or AI workflow testing.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

- Hands-on development experience with React, TypeScript, Python, or FastAPI.
- Experience with LLM evaluation tools such as LangSmith or DeepEval.
- Exposure to vector databases and retrieval systems.
- Docker and cloud environment experience.
- Familiarity with Datadog, Prometheus, or similar monitoring tools.
- Knowledge of OWASP and security testing practices.

- A clear, documented test strategy covering UI, API, and AI workflows — and the automation to back it.
- Regression suites run automatically on every pipeline execution, with results the team trusts.
- AI workflows have repeatable evaluation criteria rather than manual spot checks.
