Position Overview

Java Fullstack Developer will join the PI Germany team within the ITG – Personal Investors IT domain. You will work on Consors Bank information systems and business applications, contributing to the design, development, testing and maintenance of high‑quality web solutions. A strong focus on modern front‑end frameworks, Java back‑end services, security and performance is required, as is the ability to collaborate in an Agile, multi‑national setting.

Job Responsibilities

- Analyse business requirements and conduct feasibility studies to define optimal technical solutions.
- Design and implement web applications following best practices for maintainability, scalability, security and testability.
- Develop front‑end components using Angular, React, Vue.js, WebComponents, TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS (custom styling, not Tailwind).
- Build back‑end services with Spring Boot, REST APIs and integrate security mechanisms (OAuth 2.0, Spring Security, OWASP guidelines, CSRF/XSS protection).
- Write unit, integration and end‑to‑end tests (Jest, Karma, JUnit, Playwright) and document test results.
- Maintain code quality, perform code reviews, pair‑programming and enforce BNPP group standards for development, quality and security.
- Create and update technical documentation, system design artefacts and deployment guides.
- Configure and integrate software into development, test and production environments; support 3rd‑level incident resolution, bug fixing and minor enhancements.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives: optimise development processes, adopt advanced tools (Webpack, Vite, Turbopack, Storybook),



prototype new technologies via PoCs and collaborate with IT Production to enhance operational stability.
- Define and provision required development infrastructure, support its testing and acceptance, and assist in troubleshooting urgent software or infrastructure issues.
- Share knowledge actively through internal channels, mentoring, and mandatory regulatory training participation.

Required Education, Skills, AND Experience (MUST‑HAVE)

- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Engineering or a comparable discipline.
- Minimum 7 years of qualified experience in web application development.
- Proven expertise in modern JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS and at least one major front‑end framework (Angular, React, Vue.js).
- Strong experience creating and using WebComponents (standard‑based) and custom styling.
- Deep knowledge of Java back‑end development with Spring Boot, RESTful APIs and security concepts (OAuth 2.0, Spring Security, OWASP, CSRF/XSS).
- Hands‑on experience with build tools (Webpack, Vite, Turbopack) and component documentation tools such as Storybook.
- Proficiency with testing frameworks and tools (Jest, Karma, JUnit, Playwright) and ability to design/execute unit, integration and E2E tests.




- Familiarity with browser testing platforms (BrowserStack) and version‑control/CI pipelines.
- Understanding of software requirement engineering, ability to translate wireframes into functional web pages, and experience with Agile (Scrum) delivery.
- Very good written and spoken English.

Preferred Education, Skills, AND Experience (NICE‑TO‑HAVE)

- Experience with additional front‑end technologies such as Lit, EcmaScript 6+, or WebComponents libraries.
- Knowledge of TDD/BDD practices and experience building comprehensive test suites.
- Exposure to accessibility standards (WCAG) and implementation techniques for users with disabilities.
- Familiarity with banking domain concepts (products, transactions, trading, investing).
- Experience with CI/CD platforms (GitLab, Jenkins) and containerisation/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Background in performance optimisation of web pages (lazy loading, code splitting, bundle analysis).
- Prior involvement in Proof‑of‑Concept projects for emerging technologies.
- Any relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, Spring Qualified, AWS Certified Developer).
