Role Description

We are looking for a Firmware Engineer with 2+ year of hands-on experience in embedded firmware development. The role involves working on safety-critical applications using Bare-Metal and RTOS-based architectures

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain embedded firmware for microcontroller-based products
- Work on Bare-Metal and RTOS-based firmware modules
- Implement and test low-level drivers (GPIO, UART, SPI, I2C, Timers, ADC, Flash)
- Assist in implementing real-time behavior using tasks, interrupts, and timers
- Follow safety-critical development practices and coding standards
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and basic debugging
- Support board bring-up and hardware-software integration activities
- Analyze and fix firmware defects under supervision
- Participate in code reviews, documentation,



and design discussions

Required Skills

- Core Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Embedded C
- Basic understanding of microcontroller architecture (interrupts, memory, registers)
- Hands-on experience with Bare-Metal firmware development
- Working knowledge of RTOS fundamentals (tasks, priorities, semaphores, queues)
- Familiarity with communication interfaces (UART, I2C, SPI)
- Experience using debuggers (JTAG/SWD)
- Understanding of hardware schematics and datasheets

Safety & Quality Awareness

- Awareness of MISRA C guidelines and structured coding practices
- Basic understanding of watchdog timers, error handling, and safe-state concepts
- Familiarity with unit testing and static analysis tools is a plus
- Understanding of deterministic and real-time constraints

Positive to Have

- Exposure to safety-critical standards (IEC 61508, ISO 26262, IEC 62304)
- Experience with FreeRTOS or similar RTOS
- Basic knowledge of bootloaders or firmware update mechanisms
- Familiarity with Git or version control systems
