This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Financial Systems Application Administrator based in India.

This is a global finance technology role focused on keeping critical financial applications secure, reliable, and efficient. You will administer and optimize cloud-based finance platforms while supporting users, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining robust application performance. The role sits at the intersection of Finance, IT, security, vendors, and audit teams, giving you broad exposure to business-critical systems and processes.

You will play an important role in application changes, software releases, testing, and technology transformation initiatives. Strong attention to security and SOX controls will be essential, particularly around access management and user provisioning. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys solving operational challenges while contributing to larger finance technology projects in a global environment.

n Accountabilities:

- Lead the configuration, maintenance, and day-to-day administration of global finance applications and cloud-hosted modules, including Oracle ERP/FCC/PBC, Coupa, Concur, BlackLine, and Longview.
- Maintain application settings, administrative configurations, and standing data migrations as required.
- Manage application role security and user access in accordance with best practices and global SOX control requirements.
- Partner with Finance stakeholders to define appropriate access models for new applications and coordinate periodic control assessments with auditors.

- Manage finance application user provisioning and process change-request tickets efficiently and accurately.
- Own and administer Finance application ticket queues, ensuring issues are prioritized, tracked, and resolved effectively.
- Collaborate with senior Finance leadership to maintain visibility into priorities, change pipelines, open tickets, and operational requirements.

- Troubleshoot application issues, outages, integrations, and other technical problems, minimizing disruption during critical finance reporting periods.




- Work with outsourced technology partners to monitor application performance and address operational issues.
- Review upcoming software releases and updates, assess their impact, and lead testing activities with Finance process owners.

- Support the implementation of new finance applications, processes, and strategic technology transformation initiatives.
- Develop expertise in new Finance technologies and assist with training users on applications, processes, and system changes.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, user manuals, operating procedures, and IT policies related to Finance applications.

- Support internal and external audit requests involving finance applications, technology, security, and controls.
- Provide backup support for responsibilities normally managed by the Global Finance Applications Lead during planned periods of absence.

Requirements:

- 4–6 years of professional experience working with Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials in a corporate environment.
- At least 5 years of experience administering or managing vendor-hosted cloud applications, preferably finance applications such as Oracle, Coupa, Concur, BlackLine, or Longview.
- Strong understanding of finance application administration, configuration, user provisioning, access management, and application support.
- Experience working with SOX controls, application security, role management, or audit-related technology processes is highly valuable.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot application issues, integrations, outages, and performance-related problems.

- Experience supporting technology projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver defined project outcomes.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a resourceful and proactive approach to resolving issues.




- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with Finance leadership, users, auditors, vendors, and technical teams.

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and professional experience.
- Comfortable working independently while coordinating priorities across multiple stakeholders and global teams.
- Willingness and ability to work during US Eastern Time (EST) business hours to support a US-based client.
