About the Role

We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant with 4–6 years of post-qualification experience to join the Finance Business Partnering team. The role will be responsible for partnering with business leaders to drive informed decision-making, along with ensuring timely month-end close, business performance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, while ensuring robust financial controls and governance.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Month-End Close

- Lead the month-end and quarter-end financial close activities in coordination with Controllership and Shared Services teams.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly financial reports, management MIS, and business performance dashboards.
- Review and validate revenue, expenses, provisions, accruals, and other financial entries to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Perform detailed variance analysis against Budget, Forecast, and Prior Periods, identifying key business drivers and recommending corrective actions.
- Ensure timely reconciliation of financial data across business, finance, and accounting systems.
- Support statutory, internal, and management reporting requirements by providing accurate financial information and schedules.
- Drive continuous improvement in the financial close process to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and reporting timelines.

Business Finance & Partnering

- Monitor key financial and business KPIs, including revenue, profitability, cost ratios, and productivity metrics.
- Conduct profitability analysis across products, channels, and customer segments to identify growth opportunities.




- Evaluate business proposals, pricing decisions, investments, and commercial initiatives through financial modelling and business case analysis.
- Present monthly business performance reviews to senior management, highlighting key trends, risks, opportunities, and actionable recommendations.

Planning & Performance Management

- Support the annual budgeting process, periodic forecasting, and long-range financial planning.

Controls, Governance & Process Improvement

- Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, accounting policies, and corporate governance requirements.
- Coordinate with Controllership, Tax, Internal Audit, and External Auditors for reporting requirements and financial reviews.
- Identify opportunities to automate financial reporting and MIS through improved processes and digital tools.
- Drive standardization of reporting frameworks and improve data quality across finance systems.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 4–6 years of post-qualification experience.
- Experience in Finance Business Partnering, Financial Reporting, FP&A;, Business Finance, or Commercial Finance.
- Strong understanding of month-end close processes, financial statements, accrual accounting, and management reporting.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with experience interacting with senior business leaders.
- Valuable communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
