Insurance Field Sales Executive – Position: Insurance Field Sales Executive Location: Chennai Employment Type: Full time Experience: 2–5 years in insurance/financial services sales preferred About the Role We are looking for a Field Sales Executive to generate new business and develop relationships with corporates, MSMEs and individual customers for insurance products. The role involves field visits, lead generation, customer meetings, understanding requirements, coordinating quotations and converting prospects into clients.

Key Responsibilities Generate new insurance leads through field visits, referrals, networking and direct outreach . Meet business owners, HR teams, finance teams and decision-makers to understand their insurance requirements. Schedule and conduct customer meetings and presentations.

Collect customer requirements and coordinate with the internal team for quotations. Follow up on quotations and convert leads into business. Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients.





Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling insurance products. Follow up on renewals and support the team in retaining existing clients. Maintain accurate records of leads, meetings, follow-ups and conversions in the CRM/MIS.

Achieve monthly and annual sales targets. Coordinate with insurance companies and internal teams for policy issuance and documentation. Provide basic assistance to clients during policy servicing and claims coordination.

Candidate

ProfileGraduate in any discipline.

Experience in insurance, banking, financial services, B2B sales or field sales will be an advantage. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable meeting customers in person and travelling for client meetings. Strong follow-up and negotiation skills. Target-oriented and self-motivated. Basic knowledge of MS Office/Google Workspace and CRM tools. Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred.
