1. Quality Assurance and Quality Control:
- Prepare the inspection plan inline with project schedule with the ensuring the supervision of critical process & milestones.
- Accordingly conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to project specifications and standards.
- Ensure materials and workmanship comply with approved designs, codes, and safety norms.
- Verify supplier-provided materials and equipment meet quality standards.
- Conduct monthly inspections of WTG storage and preservation practices to ensure proper handling and maintenance.
- Supervision and Monitoring:
- Supervise construction activities to confirm they are executed according to design drawings and specifications.
- Monitor compliance with safety protocols and industry standards.
- Oversee and document Critical to Quality (CTQ) parameters during project execution to ensure compliance with Suzlon standards.
- Identify and address non-conformities during construction, documenting corrective actions in PQHC & share the separate excel base report as well as maintain the same record in PROMIS app.
- Inspection and Testing:
- Coordinate with customer team for material.
- Co-ordinate with site customer team for WTG material inspection & arrangement of MVAC from customer.
- Accept the RFI from customer & ensure the on time presence to do the inspection.
- Ensure the full coverage of regular and milestone-based inspections such as pre-construction, ongoing construction, and final inspections inline with FQAP.
- Review the filled PQHC by customer / customer contractors before start the inspection & note down the observations on the PQHC. Same observations & project progress status to be updated on the PROMIS app.
- Conduct wind turbine generator (WTG) milestone inspections according to the FQAP (Field Quality Assurance Plan) to ensure quality checkpoints are met.
- Support Commissioning activities and ensure the WTG are ready for commissioning.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain require documentation, including inspection reports, testing results, and quality-related records as per Quality tracker.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly progress and quality tracker reports & publish it timely.
- Track customer & material non-conformance reports (NCRs) and ensure timely resolution.
- Providing comments and feedback on Work Completion Certificates (WCCs) and sign off.
- Monitor and improve the Supervision Quality Tracker Score by ensuring adherence to quality standards across all project activities.
- Submit a minimum of 5 Unresolved Actions (UA) and Unresolved Complaints (UC) reports per month to maintain accountability and transparency.
- Coordination and Communication:
- Liaise between the client, contractors, and suppliers to resolve quality-related issues.
- Collaborate with customer project team to ensure the timely closure of quality-related issues & observations shared by supervision team.
- Report any kind of CTQ deviations to Central Quality immediately.
- In case of any major safety/process deviation, release STOP NOTE as per CPO note.
- Participate in project coordination meetings to provide updates and insights.
Technical Knowledge, Qualification and Experience:
- BE / B.Tech/ Diploma - Electrical or Electronics from any recognised University/ Institution.
- Minimum 4 years experience in Industry - Out of which 2 years in Quality Assurance System in a reputed ISO 9001 accredited Company managing the internal quality.
- At least 2 years of Inspection experience in a reputed TPI / Fabrication Company / EPC/ Project organization/ Manufacturing unit /O & M.
- Aware of ASME, IS, API, BS, Indian Standards.
