Role Description The Factory Director is a full-time, on-site role based in Navi Mumbai, responsible for overseeing end-to-end factory operations. This role includes planning and managing production schedules, optimizing resource utilization, and ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards.

The Factory

Director will lead and mentor cross-functional teams, coordinate with procurement, logistics, and maintenance, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.



The role involves monitoring key performance indicators, resolving operational issues, and ensuring that manufacturing processes align with Pack8’s commitment to eco-conscious, high-quality packaging.

The Factory

Director will also collaborate with senior leadership on strategic capacity planning, cost control, and modernization of factory operations.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Production Planning and Production Management to oversee scheduling, workflow, and resource allocation.
- Candidates should possess Manufacturing expertise to manage end-to-end processes, equipment utilization, and factory throughput.
- Candidates should possess Quality Management skills to uphold product standards, implement quality checks, and support continuous improvement.
- Candidates should possess Team Management capabilities to lead diverse teams, drive performance, and maintain a protected, inclusive work environment.
- Proven experience (typically 8+ years) in manufacturing or packaging operations, with at least several years in a leadership role.
- Experience in sustainable or eco-conscious manufacturing practices is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with proficiency in using production and reporting tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Production Management, Operations, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
