IXO Partners is looking for an experienced and motivated Facade Consultant to join our growing team in Thane. IXO Partners focuses on bringing technical excellence to drive decarbonization and strengthen climate resilience for buildings sector. This role offers the prospect to work on a diverse portfolio of of projects across different international regions.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical foundation, experience across multiple façade systems and project stages, and a passion for creating façade designs that balance aesthetics, functionality, sustainability, and technical excellence.

- Min 5 years' experience
- Hybrid working and flexibility
- University qualifications in: engineering (preferred) (civil, structural, mechanical, aerospace, systems); material science; architecture
- Experience in delivering variety of project typologies: at a minimum in commercial, residential, retail; experience in arts&culture;, sculptures, institutional projects (hospitals, education, government buildings) considered a plus.




- Experience in designing with multiple facade system types: at a minimum with curtain wall, window wall, fin-supported and 1-way spanning glass wall systems; experience with specialist structures (composites, timber, temporary, technology-integrated) considered at plus.
- Experience in new build developments minimum; retrofit and redevelopment (with re-use) considered a plus.
- Experienced with system design from first principles, accounting for: structural, thermal performance, weathertightness, durability, replacement, cost
- Worked at all stages of the project lifecycle: concept design, schematic, detailed design, tendering, contract admin, defects period
- Ability to produce quick and high-quality visual communication considered a plus - e.g. hand sketching, 3D models, 2D detailing, diagrammatic
- Software experience: rhino 3D, basic renderings, structural software (strand7 or similar FEA)
