– Executive Librarian

Position: Executive Librarian

Location: Greater Noida (Lloyd Group of Institutions)

Experience: 2 - 5 Years

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day operations of the library and ensure smooth functioning.
- Maintain and organize books, journals, periodicals, e-resources, and other library materials.
- Handle Koha Library Management Software for library automation and management.
- Perform cataloguing, classification, circulation, member management, and report generation using Koha.
- Manage book issue/return, renewals, reservations, and overdue records.
- Maintain accurate library databases and student/faculty membership records.
- Assist students and faculty in searching and accessing print and digital resources.
- Maintain records of new books, acquisitions, stock verification, and weeding of resources.




- Generate regular library reports and maintain documentation as required by the institution.
- Ensure proper implementation of library policies, procedures, and academic requirements.

Required Qualification

- M.Lis and B.Lis
- Relevant experience in an academic/college/university library will be preferred.

Required Skills

- Positive hands-on knowledge of Koha Library Management Software is mandatory.
- Knowledge of cataloguing and classification systems such as AACR2/RDA, MARC21, DDC, etc.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with strong practical experience in Koha software, library automation, cataloguing, circulation, and academic library operations will be preferred.
