Role Description The Estimation Engineer / Proposal Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Shahapur. This role involves preparing detailed cost estimates and BOQs for process equipment and heavy engineering projects, analyzing technical specifications, drawings, and client requirements.

The Estimation

Engineer / Proposal Engineer will develop and review proposals, coordinate with design, production, and procurement teams,



and ensure estimates align with company standards and client budgets. Daily responsibilities include conducting market and technical research, evaluating vendor quotations, supporting negotiations with clients and suppliers, and updating estimation databases and documentation. The role also requires close collaboration with project and sales teams to respond to inquiries, clarify scope, and contribute to timely, accurate bid submissions.

Qualification

- Candidates should possess robust skills in BOQ preparation and project estimation for industrial or heavy engineering projects.
- Candidates should possess effective negotiation skills for working with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess research skills for analyzing technical data, market pricing, and industry standards.
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience in fabrication or manufacturing of heavy equipment, pressure vessels, or process plants is beneficial.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, codes, and standards (e.g., ASME, IBR) and use relevant engineering/estimation software.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively on-site in Shahapur.
