Role Description The Environment Engineer will work full time on-site in Ahmedabad, supporting construction and infrastructure projects with a focus on environmental sustainability and regulatory compliance. Daily responsibilities include conducting environmental assessments, monitoring site activities for adherence to environmental standards, and coordinating waste management and wastewater treatment measures. The role involves preparing technical reports, documentation for approvals, and assisting with environmental impact assessments required by local and national regulations.

The Environment

Engineer will collaborate with project managers, consultants, and regulatory bodies to implement mitigation strategies and recommend improvements to minimize environmental risks.



The position also includes training site teams on environmental best practices and maintaining records for audits and inspections.

Qualifications

- Robust knowledge of Environmental Compliance, including relevant local and national regulations and standards.
- Experience with Environmental Impact Assessment and Environmental Consulting to support project planning and approvals.
- Practical experience in Wastewater Treatment and Waste Management in construction or infrastructure settings.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering with an environmental focus, or a related discipline.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, plans, and environmental reports, and to prepare clear documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
- Familiarity with environmental monitoring tools, data analysis, and reporting software is an advantage.
- Prior experience in construction or infrastructure projects in India is beneficial.
