Role Description This contract, on-site Engineering Manager role is based in Goregaon and focuses on leading engineering teams that build and maintain Haptik’s AI-driven products and platforms.

The Engineering

Manager will oversee end-to-end software development activities, including planning, technical design, implementation, integration, and deployment of scalable, reliable systems. The role involves collaborating closely with product management, design, data science, and operations teams to define technical roadmaps, prioritize initiatives, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery. The person in this role will mentor and coach engineers, drive best practices in coding,



testing, and DevOps, and promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Additional responsibilities include managing project timelines and resources, resolving technical bottlenecks, and ensuring that solutions align with business goals and customer experience standards.

Qualifications

- Strong Engineering Management and Team Leadership skills, including experience guiding cross-functional engineering teams and fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture.
- Hands-on Software Development experience with modern languages, frameworks, and architectures, and the ability to provide technical guidance and review complex solutions.
- Proven Project Management capabilities, including planning, estimation, risk management, and delivery of multiple concurrent initiatives in an agile environment.
- Experience with system Integration, APIs, and distributed systems, ensuring seamless interoperability between platforms, services, and third-party tools.
- Background in building or managing scalable SaaS, cloud-native, or AI-driven products is highly beneficial.
- Robust problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical strategies.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience working with enterprise clients and stakeholder management across product, business, and operations teams.
