About the Role

We are looking for an Engineering Manager – AI & ML to lead our AI engineering efforts, drive technical execution, and build a strong engineering team. This is a hands-on technical leadership role involving both architecture and team management.

Key Responsibilities

- Technical Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team of AI/ML engineers.
- Design scalable architectures for AI/ML products and services.
- Drive engineering best practices, code quality, testing, and system reliability.
- Work closely with researchers to take models from prototype to production.
- Participate in technical design and code reviews.
- AI/ML Engineering
- Lead development and deployment of deep learning systems across computer vision, audio/speech, NLP, multimodal AI, and generative AI.
- Build and optimize production inference pipelines and AI APIs.
- Work with GPU infrastructure and optimize models for latency, throughput, and memory.
- Establish robust evaluation, benchmarking, model deployment, and monitoring practices.




- Stay current with emerging AI/ML technologies and identify opportunities for product innovation.
- Product & Execution
- Translate product requirements into technical roadmaps and milestones.
- Drive projects from concept through production deployment.
- Work closely with Product, Research, and Engineering teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Identify technical risks and make appropriate architecture and technology trade-offs.
- Ensure AI systems meet requirements for accuracy, performance, scalability, and reliability.

Requirements

- Master's degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in software/AI/ML engineering.
- 2+ years of experience leading engineering or AI/ML teams.
- Robust hands-on experience with Python and PyTorch/TensorFlow.
- Strong understanding of deep learning and production ML systems.
- Experience taking ML models from research/prototype to production.
- Strong software engineering and system design skills.
- Experience with GPU-based AI workloads and model optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Good to Have

- Experience with computer vision, deepfake detection, generative AI, speech/audio AI, multimodal AI, digital forensics, CUDA, Docker/Kubernetes, ONNX/TensorRT, Triton, or MLOps.
